Today is the day, Election Day.

Some interesting Colonial Beach election facts for you today:

Did you know my campaign for Mayor is entirely independent? AND my campaign volunteer team is actually 50/50 Rep/Dem, Red and Blue down the middle! I can bring out everyone but that is because my colors are Black and Gold, and running for Mayor it is about #CBFIRST

Colonial Beach, Virginia has 2,799 Registered Voters, 202 people registered in CB this year and 61 in the month of October alone!

I registered my neighbors this year, for the first time in their lives, they are 65!

56% are Female/44% are Male

Ages range from 100 to 18.

In 2019, 750 (28%) Registered Voters were under 40, 996 (37%) are 40-65, 882 (35%) are over 65

Only 1,039 (40%) of 2,622 registered voters actually voted in 2019 for our local election.

More women than men voted. 597 (57%) whom voted are Female/442 Male (43%) - Ages 94 to 18

139 Voted were under 40, 400 were 40-65, and 500 were over 65

In 2019 - 995 Voted in person, 44 Absentee

Of the 86 Young Adults ages 18-22 registered in town, only 6 actually voted in 2019!

So whomever you are, whatever your age, however you lean, come out today if you haven't voted early and cast your ballot. Polls are open from 6am to 7pm at Colonial Beach High School on 1st Street, Today is the last day, Tuesday, November 3rd.
